Government of India has approved a Central Sector Scheme – SAMPADA (Scheme for Agro-Marine Processing and Development of Agro-Processing Clusters). The SAMPADA is implemented by Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MoFPI). SAMPADA has been renamed as Pradhan Mantri Kisan Sampada Yojna (PMKSY).
